The archive read the line itself on 3 October 2026; the reading is the entry below.
"California, Los Angeles, Passenger Lists, 1907-1948", FamilySearch — the Ginyo Maru, Yokohama to San Pedro, 20 November 1940, transit passengers (NARA A3385 roll 27), image 491 The Ginyo Maru's transit list, Yokohama to San Pedro (Los Angeles), stamped 'departed 20 November 1940', read by the archive on 3 October 2026 after David Rosen's report: Hufnagal, Mojzesz, 32, married, a lawyer, reading English, a Polish national, born at Krakow, with no United States visa, last residence Krakow; the whole sheet is marked 'in transit for Balboa, Canal Zone'. The register's Mosei Hufnagel, Polish, 32 on the compiled list, is the only Hufnagel on the register, and a Yokohama sailing in November 1940 follows a visa of 29 July 1940. The compiled list's wife of 32 is not on the sheet. FamilySearch's index gives him as born about 1908.
