A Japanese transit visa issued to Abraham Sagenkahn, signed by the Consul of Japan at Kaunas on 1 August 1940, permitting transit through Japan en route to Suriname, Curacao and other Netherlands colonies. The passport also bears a Netherlands consular declaration (No. 1514) signed at Kaunas on 29 July 1940 by Zwartendijk, stating no entry visa is required for admission to Suriname and Curacao. The document is displayed as a reproduction alongside Mr. Samuil Manski's cigarette case bought in Kobe in 1941.
