The first document this line has ever had. The register gives Aron Weksler, aged 50 when the visa was written on 31 July 1940, and uncle of the person at No. 566. The Legation's certificate gives Weksler Aron born 1890 — fifty in 1940 — born at Bialystok, married, a technician. Surname, given name and year of birth agree, and the year is not derived from the register: the certificate states it outright. - (HOLOCAUST).
