The President Taft's manifest, Kobe to San Francisco, 8 February 1941, read by the archive on 3 October 2026: Sinasohn, Kathe Falk, 57, married, housewife, reading English and German, a Luxembourg national, born at Czarnikau, on transit certificate No. 7 issued at Moscow on 23 December 1940; going to her son Robert Nast at 319 West 94th Street, New York, the passage paid by the son; with her husband Erhard (No. 472) and her son Werner Nast (No. 466). The Kobe community's register gives her as 52 and born Berlin; the two records swap the ages and birthplaces of husband and wife and both are given here as written.
