He was accompanied by his wife Rywa (born 20 February 1894 in Bialystok) and their daughter Zofia (born 24 November 1922). The document is valid for all countries and linked to certificate no. W-99, expiring 2 March 1941.
This is a Lithuanian sauf-conduit (Leidimas) issued in lieu of a foreign passport at Kaunas in September 1940 to Hersz Wulfson, a merchant born 10 July 1891 in Bialystok and residing in Vilnius. He is accompanied by his wife Rywa (born 20 July 1894 in Bialystok) and their daughter Zofia (born 1922). The document was valid for all countries and set to expire in January-March 1941.
Hersz Wulfson and his family members Riwa and Sofia received a Japanese transit visa issued at Kaunas on 31 August 1940, permitting travel through Japan en route to Palestine (and other Netherlands colonies). Soviet transit visas (Nos. 11471, 11472, 11473) authorized their passage through the USSR via Odessa, with temporary stay in Moscow permitted until 25 September 1940.
