  The President Cleveland sailed from Kobe on 10 October 1940, took shore leave at Honolulu on the 19th and landed at San Francisco in the last week of October; its manifest has Urysz Frajman, aged 45, married, a forwarding agent, reading German, Polish, born at Warsaw, last residence in Lithuania, on a quota immigration visa, No. 4026, issued at Kaunas on 19 June 1940. The register's line reads Igusz; the age and the trade are the same.

  Urysz Frajman settled in New York. He petitioned for naturalization in the Southern District of New York, born 1895 at Warsaw, aged 48 at the petition, and his 1942 draft registration in the Bronx gives his birth as 17 April 1895 and his address there. The manifest on this page gives the same birth year, 1895, and birthplace, and the name, in that spelling, belongs to nobody else in these indexes.
