  The Heiyo Maru's passenger manifest, Yokohama 29 June 1941 for San Pedro, lists Paula Lindemann, seventeen, born Königsberg, on the line below Mira Lindemann, forty-two, of Kaunas, with Manfred, twelve, beside them. The register enters Paula and Mira Lindeman on consecutive lines, both German, on 19 August 1940, with ages of seventeen and forty-two; the given names, both ages and the two lines travelling together agree, so this is the same household and not a shared surname.
