  SHE WAS CHAIM'S WIFE, NOT HIS SISTER. The compilation enters her as "sister of #1760". Jan M. Gronski, a relative, writes that she was his wife, and that after Chaim died she married Chaim's brother Dawid. The February 1947 list of liberated former persecutees enters her as "wife: Perla" directly beneath "KERSZENCWAJG, Chaim".
