Archive note, 30 August 2026 — a correction to the Kobe attributions. Thirteen register entries had been matched to two lines each of the Kobe refugee register, on the strength of a similar surname. In seven cases the two lines described… This entry had been given Kobe entry 236 as well as entry 234. Entry 236 is a child of four born at Lida. The register has a timber specialist of thirty-four. Entry 234, on page 48 — Orensztejn Naftali, thirty-six, of Opatow, timber specialist, with an uncle Tenenbaum at 1933 Virginia, Detroit — is the line that remains.
