A postcard sent from L. Berkowicz at Nowolipki, Warsaw (in the German-occupied General Government) addressed to L. Berkowicz care of 'JEWCOM' (the Jewish Committee) of Kobe, No. 6 Yamamoto-Dori, Ichome, Kobe, Japan. The card was mailed from Warschau (Warsaw) and bears a censor stamp. It reflects correspondence with Jewish refugees who reached Kobe, Japan, a common destination for those who escaped via Sugihara/Zwartendijk transit routes.
