What she found for each person is set out on that person's own e… Prof. Leiserowitz places his birth at Hamburg in 1916, which agrees with the register's “aged 24”, and gives his wife — entered in the ledger only as Cyla — her full name: Tsila, or Celia, Sackheim, born at Raseiniai in 1917. He did not reach the United States until 11 June 1946, having spent the war years in Shanghai. She writes his given name as Meyer, where the register reads Meno.
