Haftka Samuel, Polish, sailed from Kobe for Shanghai on 24 May 1941 aboard the Kamakura Maru, travelling with Paulina. He reached Japan on 3 February 1941 from Kovno. NOTE: the register carries a Samuel Haftka twice, and this document bears on which line is meant, because this Samuel sailed with Paulina and Paulina is the line immediately before this one. That is evidence toward the question, not a settlement of it.
