Where this comes from

• LitvakSIG, All Lithuania Database — marriage record, Virbalis, 8 March 1932: Sam Aprilius (April), born 1903 at Kybartai, and Tauba Rezvinaite (Rezvin), born 1913 at Kybartai (Lithuanian State Historical Archives, fond 1817); found by Da…
Sam April married Tauba Rezvin at Virbalis on 8 March 1932, according to the Lithuanian marriage record indexed by LitvakSIG, which gives him as born in 1903 at Kybartai, living at Vilkaviškis, and a Canadian national, and her as born in 1913 at Kybartai. The register has the two of them as Canadians, Sam at this line and Tauba at No. 1908, the only Aprils on it; the two names together and the nationality are the basis of the match (found by David Rosen).
• US Immigration and Naturalization Service, cross-reference index card A-164 for Sam April: aged 42, married, manufacturer, a British subject, born at Vilkaviškis, Lithuania,… — a copy from FamilySearch sent by David Rosen, 8 October 2026
Sam April came into the United States by air on 13 June 1946, aged 42, a manufacturer and a British subject, born at Vilkaviškis — an immigration index card found by David Rosen. The birth year it implies, about 1904, and the birthplace agree with the 1932 marriage record for this line; nothing has yet been found on where he and his wife were between 1940 and 1946.
